What a night to remember!

The City of Tygerberg Choir extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for The Last Night of the Proms – Cape Town at the iconic Cape Town City Hall. 

Presented by the Wynberg Rotary Club, this year’s edition — themed A Festival of Bells — was a resounding success, filled with joy, unity, and magnificent music.

From the moment the historic carillon bells rang out in celebration of their centenary, it was clear that the evening would be special. 

The massed choirs, the Cape Town Proms Orchestra, the pipers from the Cape Town Highlanders, Celtic dancers from Ramsay Dance Studio, and the captivating soprano Erin Beck all came together to deliver an unforgettable performance led by the dynamic conductor Richard Cock.

Thank you to every audience member who clapped, cheered, and even rang their own bells in support. Your energy lit up the hall and reminded us why music matters. 

We are incredibly proud to have been part of this powerful musical tradition and to stand alongside so many talented artists in support of a good cause.

A special word of gratitude to the Wynberg Rotary Club for hosting this iconic event and for continuing to use the power of music to uplift communities. 

The proceeds from this event will go toward important charitable causes, and we are honoured to have played our part.
