This past Sunday, 19 October 2025, the walls of URCSA Rondebosch (VGKSA) were filled with the sound of unity, joy, and purpose. The Choral Afternoon was more than just a concert — it was a celebration of community spirit and the power of music to bring people together.

Held in the Main Church Building at 2 St Gotha’s Road, Gleemoor, Athlone, the event drew a full and enthusiastic audience who came not only to enjoy beautiful performances, but to support a meaningful cause: raising funds to upgrade the sound system at URCSA Rondebosch. Thanks to your generosity and presence, this goal is now closer to reality.

The afternoon’s program was rich with talent and heartfelt artistry. From the inspiring performances of Muzukidz, whose young string players filled the hall with promise and grace, to the captivating solos of Deepika Cerpath, Lize Smith, and Christelle de Vries, every note resonated with emotion and excellence. Each artist brought something unique to the stage — weaving a tapestry of sound that reflected our community’s diversity and shared devotion.

Tickets were just R50, but the value of the experience was priceless. Every ticket purchased represented not only a seat in the audience but a contribution to the continued growth and quality of our worship and music ministry.
